ETDA, through NRCA, conducted the first cyber security drill for electronic certificate authorities (CAs) in Thailand for its member agencies (SubCAs) and observers on November 2 and 3, 2023. The drill was conducted to enhance the response and recovery capabilities of CAs and to prepare them for potential cyber threats.

ETDA, through the NRCA, has introduced a new Certification Authority (CA) system root infrastructure, G2 and G3, to support electronic certificate issuers' growing demand. The system aims to accommodate up to 1 million certificate issuances in the year 2025.
